The Textile and Fashion Industry Training Centre (TaF.tc) was founded in 1983 and is the first and only Continuing Education and Training Centre (CET) appointed by SSG for the textile and fashion industry in Singapore. Dynamic and forward-looking, TaF.tc strives to become a global fashion school without boundaries.

We offer specially designed industry-based training programmes to prepare students for a creative career in the highly competitive fashion industry, and to help industry professionals develop, specialise, and get ahead of the curve. Our local and global fashion collaborations means we can offer unrivalled, continuously updated services, enabling TaF.tc to stay in line with leading national and international fashion industry standards.

TaF.tc has partnered and signed accreditation agreements with over 10 renowned fashion schools and universities locally and overseas including Paris College of Art, LIM College in New York, and University of the Arts in London. These partnerships will ensure students can receive higher education level from the best fashion institutions throughout the world.

In addition, TaF.tc has received international recognition for providing industry training and consultancy in more than 20 countries including Cambodia, Morocco, Bangladesh, China, New York, Laos, Malaysia, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. Our in-depth knowledge of pre-production processes within the fashion industry enables factories to move up the supply chain through capacity development in Merchandising, Design and Product Development. Working in close collaboration with industry associations in other countries, we help identify competencies and performance gaps, and provide capacity development through our robust training programmes in our esteemed design school.
